Special Events Facilities
We've put a lot of care and thought into making Selva Negra is a premier location for business meetings, office parties, birthday parties, family gatherings and receptions. We offer two conference halls, brand new meeting rooms, full-service fine dining in the restaurant, and a charming chapel built to host wedding ceremonies. The conference halls accommodate gatherings from 75 to 350 guests for seating at dinner, and meetings that accommodate 100 to 400 participants.
Chapel
Our tastefully-designed and charming chapel has hosted hundreds of romantic and unforgettable weddings. It's a picture perfect setting on a hill beneath our cloud forest. The cobble-stone path to the chapel winds its way through cultivated flower gardens. The architecture of the stone chapel is simple and timeless. It seats more than 120 celebrants.
Salon Blanco
Your guests won't have to hike from the wedding ceremony to reception. Salon Blanco is just up the path from the restaurant to the chapel. Its interior color decor is bridal white to provide a elegant ambience and romantic dinner for your glamorous reception. Tablecloth matching your wedding's color scheme adds a personal note to your event. Salon Blanco can host as many as 300 diners in tables that sit between eight and ten people.
Salon Blanco's doors open onto an al fresco terrace for additional seating. Another set of doors leads your guests to a large dance floor with a stage for a live band or DJ. The outdoor terrace and its gracious surroundings are an idyllic setting to serve your guests hors d'oeuvres, cocktails and as a moonlit dance floor. The terrace location is also perfect for outdoor cocktail events, luncheons, and baby and bridal showers.
Salon Blanco's layout can be reconfigured for conferences and business meetings. We can provide the eraser boards and projector screen for presentations.
Salon Bavaria
Salon Bavaria on the path to the restaurant is smaller than Salon Blanco, making it appropriate for more intimate festivities and large meetings. It accommodates 100 people for conferences and 75 people for seated dining. Salon Bavaria is a preferred venue for international conferences and business events. Its split-level layout provides for separate events and dance floor / dining areas.
Yaguare Conference Room
The Yaguare conference room features a large, open floor-plan with portable dividers available to create individual meeting rooms. Situated above the Yasica rooms and youth hostel, it's a great all-in-one venue, with lodging on the first level and meeting space above. Equipped with a bar, it can also host small weddings and personal events.
Gazebo
If what you heart desires is a nature setting for a small wedding, it need not search farther than our gazebo. Facing the lake and with a panoramic view of the mountains behind it, it will provide you with memories and photo that you will cherish for your lifetime.
Restaurant
The restaurant is also available to reserve for larger groups.
