Decorations and Set-up
For your reception we offer your choice of conference halls and a full set-up of tables, chairs, linens (including table cloths, table cloth coverings, balances and curtains), silverware, table settings and crystal (including glasses, wine goblets, pitchers, ice buckets and ash trays). We provide a wishing-well-shaped gift collector, guest-book table, and a special place-setting for your wedding cake, decorated in your choice of style.
Floral Arrangements
Selva Negra's own florists can help you select arrangements to adorn the chapel and reception hall with flowers grown in our own gardens. Examples include chrysanthemums, white cala lilies, roses, carnations, and asters, to name just a few depending on the season and weather. We also design bridal bouquets and matching groom's boutonnières.
Carriage Rental
Create a fairy-tale wedding by riding to and from the chapel in an antique wooden carriage from the colonial city of Granada! The ride to the chapel with your beloved will your last voyage as single people, and the return voyage will be the first of your many travels together as a married couple.
Hors d'oeuvres
Before the meal service, have our wait-staff serve your guests hot and cold hors d'oeuvres prepared in our kitchens by our professionally-schooled chefs from the finest, freshest bounty of our own organic farm. Choose from a hors d'oeuvres menu that includes fine cheeses, pates, ham platters, fresh fruits and vegetables.
Meal
We serve the main dishes of your wedding feast buffet-style. A typical buffet menu might include two meat dishes, two pasta selections and two vegetable plates, plus salads and artisanal breads baked in our ovens.
Wedding Cake
Our wedding cake designers can help you create a special confection to match your wedding theme and colour scheme. Selva Negra's bakers are the best in Nicaragua! Your wish is their command! They can prepare double-layer, single-tier, two-tier, and triple-tier wedding cakes, in an amazing variety of flavours and icings. Our price includes decorating the cakes with fresh flowers or fondant.
Bar and Beverage Services
Our bar is fully stocked with a wide variety of the best brand-name liquors from around the globe, together with all the customary mixers and garnishes. We also offer a full service of non-alcoholic beverages, such as freshly-squeezed fruit juices, our best coffee, sodas, mineral water and more.
Music
Call on us to help you find professional musicians or DJs for your celebration or bring your own. We've equipped the Salon Blanco hall with a state-of-the-art sound system, a stage for live bands and DJ's booth.
