Selva Negra is a sustainable coffee plantation that welcomes tourists. From the food on the table in the lakeside restaurant to the electricity in the quaint half-timbered cabins, everything needed to run this little kingdom is produced at Selva Negra.

Ecolodge

The Eco Lodge offers the tourist a fantastic destination where to relax, enjoy the intense nature of the rainforest, as well as an opportunity to immerse themselves in the sustainability that makes Selva Negra a model farm. They will also enjoy all the organic work of the farm as they sit and enjoy a cup of coffee and a meal entirely raised and produced at the estate.

Nature Reserve

With over 900 acres, Selva Negra is a model of sustainability and nature preservation. There are over 330 acres of pure rainforest where trails weave to offer the tourist an opportunity to explore and connect with this marvelous place. We have been fortunate to have hosted various scientists studying the animal and plant life and provided us with interesting reports. Coffee Estate

Located in the highlands of central Nicaragua, the hills of Selva Negra are draped in green year round and the temperature is always comfortable. Fourteen trails, six of which are designed for horses, make this beautiful and pristine cloud forest easy to explore
