After a day of hiking, horseback riding and touring in the brisk mountain air and fine dining in our acclaimed restaurant, the time comes to lay yourself down on soft pillows and laundered sheets to fall into a deep sleep, with the distant call of howler monkeys as your lullaby.

Selva Negra offers a complete range of lodgings, from a chalet with more than 125 years of history to newly built hotel-style rooms. Our lodgings are carefully separated to protect your privacy and provide peace and quiet. All of them blend into the landscape and offer panoramic views of the estate's natural setting. Options include:

Bungalows

Nineteen bungalows on the grounds range in size from one to four bedrooms, each with their own front porch. Couples looking for a romantic getaway prefer the intimacy of Selva Negra's one-bedroom bungalows, with a separate living-room and full bathroom. Families and groups of friends stretch their dollars the furthest by selecting one of our multi-bedroom bungalows.

Chalets

Selva Negra's four large chalets are steeped in the history and atmosphere of the resort. They range from three to six bedrooms and can accommodate two people per bedroom. Our chalets are ideal for large families and groups who plan to stay for several days. They are also perfect as longer-term vacation homes.

Hotel Rooms

Our hotel-style rooms are large and modern, with full private baths, long front porches and unobstructed views.

Youth Hostel

Our youth hostel is a separate building with 12 rooms. If you are traveling as a group of student under a tight budget looking for a place to escape the pressure of school, the resort offers single beds in the youth hostel at a very reasonable rate, with a minimum of 4 people per room.
