Selva Negra is a farm that must be visited in order to truly understand the depth of sustainability projects involved to maintain such a diversified estate. We have always insisted on visits by our buyers, roasters who purchase our coffee, consumers who wish to understand the coffee world, and anyone who wants to learn from our experiences. Well, people listened. These past two months have brought an amazing amount of visitors. It's the best time for it. The coffee processing is in full swing, the farm activity and life is amazing, and the spirits are filled with the fruit of the year's labor. |

Among the visits were:
- Pete Rogers, Allegro Coffee, and Café Crem, long-term buyers and supporters of Selva Negra.
- JavaVino with many roasters and retailers who offer Selva Negra Coffee
- Green Mountain Coffee, Counter Culture, and Illy Café: hopefully buyers of Selva Negra in the future.
- From across the Atlantic, Manuel Roman from Germany and Tesco representatives from London.
Those who visited the estate, where given an intensive tour of the farm and all it's operations, including: the coffee mill; coffee picking; the housing, clinic and school area; the laboratories; vermiculture building; and methane gas installations.

What did they think? Here are some quotes
The system you have implemented in Selva Negra is an example of integrated organic coffee culture for everyone. You have demonstrated that under good practices, care and conditions it is possible to efficiently produce organic coffee. It must not have been easy.
- Mausi has been selling her coffee to us for over ten years; she is a fascinating human being. I have met few people in my lifetime that can match her intellect, curiosity and drive. Her commitment to organic farming, worker treatment and animal compassion is unparalleled. Jeff Teter - Allegro Coffee
- Thank you so much for everything you did to make our employee visit to Selva Negra so wonderful. Everyone was thrilled by the tour you provided. Rick Peyser - Green Mountain Coffee
