Bizzare Foods with Andrew Zimmerman is a one-hour TV show on the Travel Channel focusing on the food and culture of various countries. Andrew Zimmerman and his team spent some time in Nicaragua doing a show that will air in June. His travels took him from the Pacific to the Atlantic and into the mountains of Nicaragua. Although his trip may have consisted of many strange and bizarre foods, luckily at Selva Negra he sampled our organic homemade foods including a cheese platter, sausages, hams, coffee and cake. While at Selva Negra the crew filmed around the lake, the coffee estate, and at the entrance to the estate where an old tank from the Somoza era sits as a reminder of the history of Nicaragua. They also filmed the host drinking a cup of Selva Negra coffee in the middle of the plantation surrounded by coffee trees.
