After attending the SCAA, Mausi will be visiting various Universities and coffee roasters to promote the sustainable agricultural practices at Selva Negra. Mausi's trip will begin with a program at Virginia Tech where she will be addressing a group of students and faculty at Deet's Place on April 21st. The presentation will focus on coffee and it's world, including growing, processing and the lives of the people that work at the estate. The focus will be on our efforts to make the entire process as sustainable as possible for everyone involved. Similar presentations are in the works for Vanderbilt in Nashville and Bridgewater near Boston.
From Virginia Tech, Mausi will also visit various roasters and retailers including the Green Mountain Coffee, as well as Shenandoah Joe Coffee Roasters in Charlotesville, VA.
