Hiking
Experience 14 Mountain Hiking Trails with varying lengths and difficulty levels. Take a leisure walk along the lake or a half-day trek into the virgin rainforest. For serious hikes we recommend good hiking shoes, long pants and a water bottle. Review our nature reserve section to learn about what you might encounter on your hike.
Horseback Riding
Enjoy the relaxation of a Horseback Ride through the resort. Horseback is the optimal way to get a quick view of the lodge layout and wonder into the sustainable farm.
Coffee Museum
The museum currently located in the upper level of the restaurant will inform you not only of the history of the coffee region but also of the people who settled the area both indigenous and European settlements.
Coffee Tour & Tasting
See the internationally known Selva Negra Estate Coffee from growing on the plant to being roasted and packaged on a Coffee Plantation and Beneficio Tour. During the harvest months (Nov to Feb) witness and take part in the various coffee processing stages.
