Cut Flowers - The flower business section of the farm started with potted plants used for decoration at the hotel, and then increased into local sales. Cut flowers were our next step, used for the hotel rooms and in the cabins. Mums were planted in the field, later came the greenhouse which started the local business which has its ups and downs, but is very rewarding to see plants grow. We are trying to make this part of the farm also organic, but it is much harder. So far we have used only organic fertilizer, but sometimes there is a plague, which we cannot control with all our organic products, so use chemical. We are looking forward to technical assistance from organic places to have organic control here as well. If you have any information to help us, please contact us.

Floral Arrangements -  The flower arrangements made at the farm are used at the events of the hotel, such as weddings, office functions, anniversaries and other special events. Whenever a customer requests a quote in advance for a wedding or any other party and wants specific type of plant or flowers, we plant them especially for this purpose.
Some couples like red roses for their  wedding, or lilac mums, or yellow daisies, so if they give us enough time we can arrange to have to perfect floral arrangements for any event. Flowers are planted at their request and the arrangements are made especially for them. Pictured above is a floral arrangement created to fit at the head table.
To the right is a the chapel decorated for a wedding and to the left is a center piece for a quince. For the quince the birthday girl wanted it decorated in all purple.  The chairs each have white chair covers and the table clothes are purple creating the theme she wanted. The floral arrangements have various purple flowers and the purple candles add the last touch.
