Horticulure - The vegetable field grows all kind of produce of which we can get seed in the country. They are mainly consumed at the restaurant and partly at the workers kitchen. They are grown organic with no kind of pesticides. The fertilizer used on the vegetables are all manufactured at the farm with seeds, leaves, barks, as well as insect repellent plants, the fertilizer used are also made at the farm.

Organic Laboratory -  To be able to organize all ecological projects done, we have made a small laboratory area. At Selva Negra we host presentations on what we have learned. We invite specialist in different subjects to give us more ideas; we invite instructors to teach us new ways to work organically. We continue to work on a trial and error bases and even if this is an expensive system, it is the only one we can use at the farm together with all the schooling received through the lab.
