Cancellation Policies, Booking Terms and Conditions
This document establishes terms and conditions of stay that regulate reservations, use of accommodation and other services provided by Selva Negra. By confirming a reservation, the guest acknowledges having read, understood and accepted our policies.
1. Confirmation of the reservation and advance payment
1.1 All reservations require 100% prepayment via deposit or bank transfer to Selva Negra’s official accounts. This guarantees your reservation; failure to make the deposit will result in the reservation not being confirmed.
1.2 For same-day arrival bookings, proof of payment must be sent within one hour of the booking request. Otherwise, the booking will be automatically cancelled.
1.3 For reservations made in advance, payment must be received at least three (3) days prior to arrival. Failure to meet this deadline will result in the cancellation of the reservation without prior notice.
2. Cancellation and Change Policies
2.1 All reservations are non-refundable.
2.2 Guests may request a date change with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice prior to the scheduled arrival date, subject to availability. Reservations cannot be rescheduled more than 30 days after the original date.
2.3 During peak seasons (Holy Week, National Holidays, Christmas and New Year) changes and cancellations are not accepted.
3. No-Show Policies
In the event that the guest does not show up on the scheduled arrival date, no refunds or date changes will be made.
4. Check-in and check-out times
Check-in: Available from 3:00 p.m.
Check-out: at 11:00 a.m.
Strict adherence to the check-out procedure is mandatory; failure to comply will result in a monetary penalty.
Early check-in is subject to availability; please confirm with the reservations department to confirm availability.
Late check-out is subject to availability; please confirm with the reservations department to confirm availability.
5. Services and restrictions
5.1 Wireless internet access (WiFi) is available only in the restaurant area.
5.2 The rooms do not have a kitchen, refrigerator, coffee maker or air conditioning.
5.3 Selva Negra is not responsible for items left on the premises.
5.4 The entry of outside food and beverages into the facilities is strictly prohibited.
6. Pet Policy
A maximum of one pet per room is allowed; an additional fee applies per pet, per night. The owner will be responsible for the behavior and care of their pets throughout their stay.
7. Meal Plan
Room rates do not include meal plans. Guests have access to the hotel restaurant, which offers a varied à la carte menu.
8. Security and behavior policies
8.1 The entry of firearms, illicit substances or any illegal activity within the hotel is prohibited.
8.2 Please respect the tranquility of the surroundings and the rest of other guests. The use of loudspeakers, loud music, or excessive noise is not permitted in rooms or common areas.
8.3 The established quiet hours are from 8:00 pm to 8:30 am.
8.4 Smoking is prohibited inside rooms and enclosed areas. Failure to comply with this regulation will result in a monetary penalty. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas.
9. Policies for minors
9.1 Children must remain under adult supervision at all times.
9.2 Selva Negra is not responsible for accidents caused by lack of supervision.
9.3 The use of extra beds is subject to availability and an extra cost applies.
10. Environmental policy
Selva Negra is committed to sustainability, we ask all guests to:
10.1 Respect local flora and fauna.
10.2 Do not throw trash on trails or green areas.
10.3 Do not feed wild animals.
11. Guest Responsibility
The guest will be responsible for any damage caused to the facilities, furniture, or belongings of Selva Negra during their stay. Such damages must be paid for before departure.
12. Acceptance of terms
Confirmation of the reservation implies express acceptance of all present Cancellation Policies, Terms and Conditions of stay that regulate the stay, use of accommodation and other services provided by Selva Negra.
