In the heart of the northern

mountains of Nicaragua

In Selva Negra, tourism is transformed into awareness

At Selva Negra, we understand tourism as an act of deep connection with the environment — a transformative experience born from respect for nature, culture, and time.

We are a historic hotel nestled in the mountains, part of a living farm that gives us origin, purpose, and meaning.

We coexist with it in harmony: serving what we grow just meters away, sharing its rhythms, and celebrating its abundance.

Every experience begins at the root: the coffee we plant, the flavors we bring to your table, and the family traditions we have preserved for generations.

A Hotel with History

Selva Negra is located at kilometer 140 on the Matagalpa-Jinotega highway, in the historic mountains where German immigrants established the first coffee farm in the 19th century.
